Who we are and how to contact us
Rush’s Reclaimed Balls is operated by Dave Rush near Quakertown, Pennsylvania, United States. This policy covers rushsreclaimedballs.com. Use the Contact page for privacy questions, launch-list removal, or requests to access, correct or delete your information. The page provides the available contact method, including an alternative link to message Rush’s through eBay.
Information you provide
- Launch updates: your email address, signup date and consent text when you ask to be notified about opening.
- Messages: your name, email address, selected topic, message and any order details or photos you choose to share. Website messages are sent to our store email inbox. If you select “Email me a copy,” we also email your submitted message to the address you enter.
- Accounts and orders: contact details, billing and delivery addresses, products, quantities, payment status, transaction references, order notes, refund details and account information if you create an account.
- Reviews, when offered: your submitted review, rating and chosen display name may be public. Do not include private information in a review.
During catalog preview, checkout is closed, but you can create a customer account, send a contact message and request a launch update. Account creation stores your email and login information; order and payment information is collected when you place an order after checkout opens. Sending a message through eBay is governed by eBay’s own privacy practices as well as our handling of the message.
Website activity, cookies and browser storage
Our hosting, security and measurement tools can receive technical information such as IP address, browser/device details, referral pages, pages viewed, interaction events and approximate location derived from an IP address. The website uses WordPress.com/Jetpack services and Google tags through Site Kit to operate and measure the site.
Cookies and similar technologies support login, cart sessions, fraud prevention, website statistics and provider features. You can block or remove cookies and site data in your browser; doing so may affect sign-in, saved fitting progress or checkout. If a provider offers privacy controls, you can also use those controls. This policy is a notice, not a cookie consent control.
Ball Fitter: answers and progress are saved in local storage in your browser so you can resume. Saved progress is treated as expired after 30 days since the last saved update and is removed when the tool next checks it. You can clear site storage in your browser at any time. The fitting calculation runs in your browser; the tool does not send your questionnaire answers to Rush’s for a customer profile. If you add a fitting mix to a live cart, the selected products, grades and quantities are sent to the store.
Normal visit and interaction measurements may still be collected when you use ball tools. We do not ask you to enter health information in the tools or contact form.
How we use information
We use information to respond to requests, send the launch update you asked for, process and deliver orders, handle returns, maintain accounts, calculate tax, prevent abuse, understand website use and meet recordkeeping or legal obligations.
The launch list is for an opening update only. It does not create an account or subscribe you to ongoing promotions. You can withdraw that request through the Contact page. Order confirmations and other necessary service messages are separate from marketing.
Providers and information sharing
Information needed for the relevant service is shared with our hosting, security, payment, tax, email and shipping providers. This includes WordPress.com/Automattic and Jetpack, Google services used on the site, and the payment provider you select at checkout, such as PayPal or WooPayments. Carriers and shipping-label services receive delivery details when we ship an order.
Payment providers process payment credentials. Rush’s does not store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes in the store database. We receive transaction information and, where provided, limited payment-method details or tokens needed for order handling and refunds.
We do not sell our customer order records or launch email list for money. Website measurement providers may collect and use information under their own policies and your settings; this statement does not mean third-party tools collect no information. We may also disclose information when needed to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, or protect against fraud or abuse.
Read the relevant provider notices: Automattic’s visitor privacy notice, Google’s privacy policy, PayPal’s privacy statement, and Automattic’s privacy policy for WooPayments services. Provider processing can take place in the United States and other countries.
How long information is kept
We keep order, payment, refund and correspondence records while needed to fulfill orders, resolve concerns and meet tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or other legal requirements. Information may be kept longer for an unresolved dispute or legal obligation. Provider logs and backups follow the relevant provider’s retention practices.
Launch-list entries are kept to deliver the requested opening update or until you ask to be removed. We review the list after the update and remove information that is no longer needed. Browser fitting progress follows the 30-day expiry described above. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove copies held in routine backups.
Your choices and requests
Use the Contact page to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with you, or to leave the launch list. Tell us the email address used and the request; do not send card numbers, passwords or identity documents unless we separately explain why a specific verification step is necessary. We may verify that the request is yours before releasing or changing information.
Depending on applicable law, you may have additional privacy rights. We will handle requests as required by that law. We may need to keep certain transaction information for legal obligations or disputes and will explain material limits on a deletion request. For information a provider holds independently, use that provider’s privacy tools or contact process.
Security, children and changes
We use access controls and the security features of our hosting and store services to protect information. No website, email system or internet transmission is completely secure.
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted personal information should contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
We may update this policy when our services or practices change. The updated date appears below the page title. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
